Hotel Description

Set amid padi fields and overlooking the Ayung River, Villa Semana Bali is surrounded by lush greenery. The property is located in Ubud, Bali's arts and cultural center, and stands seven kilometers (four miles) from a main shopping center. Ngurah Rai Airport is approximately 45 minutes, or 35 kilometers, away.
Enveloped by tropical flora, Villa Semana Bali offers a soothing oasis-like environment. Guests can relax at the property's "infinity-edged pool," or its river terrace. Both venues have wooden decks with plenty of chaise longues. Khaki umbrellas shield the sun and make the areas even more comfortable. On the spiritual side, Villa Semana offers daily yoga classes, while its spa further encourages guests to unwind. Typical services include the Lulur aromatherapy foot scrub, whose prime ingredient is turmeric, and a lavender body wash. The spa's rustic riverside setting lets guests get even more in tune with the natural surroundings. At Pondok Thai Fusion, overlooking the outdoor pool and perched on the river's gorge, guests can enjoy such fare as the chef's famed poppyseed and raisin cake.

Each of its 10 villas offer 180-degree views of the local scenery. They feature private pools, ceiling fans, remote-controlled air-conditioning units and a CD system. A fruit basket, replenished daily, and bottled water and coffeemakers are all complimentary. Rooms are furnished with rich Asian fabrics and hardwood accents. King-size beds have requisite mosquito nets.
